I love this shot- very calm and atmospheric. Beautiful landscape with interesting weather, light and colours. Good composition. Large version looks great.
I have a good screen LCD and wide angle as well..so this is superior...I think the 800 limited should soon be challenged...many now are getting the newer monitors and it changes things quite a bit as you seem to have noticed..Stay well!
great to have you back! Smooth tones, wonderful muddy colours and who needs a grad with a cloud bank like that. I do believe i owe you a reply to your mail...ooops...been a bit manic recently
Really, it is lovely to see another post from you :o)
What a muti layered dream, I feel like you have almost disected my eyes. How on Earth did you create such a scene?
I hope your world reaches a place of happiness.

Hi Emma and nice to see you back :)
Great to hear you are getting your old life back on track and lovely to see some new shots from you!
This is indeed a very moody shot, one with a very strong contrast and an amazing perspective.
Your idea to go for a panoramic LP here is excellent and in the larger shot one can really appreciate the scene better.
The light is very delicate here and i simply love its stages on the slopes from the right side of the shot.
A superb place show here is a very original way.
BRAVO and TFS

Great choice to use the panoramic version. The light here is great, as is the composition. The difference in tones is fairly subtle, so I see what you mean about needing a good screen. Great photo all round. Your illness obviously hasn't spoilt your inspiration.

I'm shocked to hear about your illness. How are you at the moment?
This is a lovely image.
Really good sense of peace.

It's a pleasure to have you back, and a pleasure to look at this magnificent picture. It's sensitive, as simple as beautiful, mystic at best. I particularly like the lighting and the overall atmosphere. The picture invites for contemplation and meditation.

A wonderful photo with a very recognizable mood to it. You are so good to capture these type of natural duo tone photos that it has become a sort of signature. I love the thick cloud hanging above the seascape channeling my eyes toward the mountain and horizon. The small rim of light along the shoreline breaks up the dark landscape perfectly and adds another touch of depth.
I am glad I've got a high quality screen, since there is a lot of detail to see in the darker areas.

Hello Emma, what a pleasure to look at one of your beautiful landscape, and most of all, to see that you are back on your feet and taking pictures. Your photo comes out beautifully on my screen with all the subtle tones and the wide and layed-back scenery. The eyes follow the river gently to the end of the "world". Thanks to you Emma, it's a beauty and wish you health and strength for this newbirth.

beautiful photo and excellent game of lights. The soft tonalities of the colors have very fixed the moment of the release. It's very interesting the positions of the clouds on the horizon: really particular.

I have missed this cute picture of an impressive scene. So attractive combination of dark and light strips. Very creative approach and nice result. I welcome strong horizontal cropping too. My compliments and TFS.
