Salam Ahmet. This image is so sharp against the darkened background. Very good focus on the head and the academic notes are very well appreciated. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend. Jusni

Good capture especially as it is busy shedding its skin. Sharp with good detail and standing out well against the BG. The eye appears to be watching you closely. We have a number of the Agama lizards here in South Africa even in my garden but they are difficult to get photos of.

Wonderful shot of this Caucasian Agama and you have skillfully used the flash lighting to portray this dark species. Very neat and sharp image with perfect details on its skin. Excellent POV and composition.

The use of flash has highlighted this Laudakia caucasia very well to produce this sharp image in dark conditions and to give us a fine view of the head and body, a species that I have not seen before.
Is this species nocturnal, or was it hiding in a rock crevice?
Cok tesekkür ederim dostum,

Beautiful picture of this lizard. Excellent POV. Good sharpness. Very nice light.
A fine close up taken under difficult to photograph conditions Ahmet, and a good instance to demonstrate a completely natural phenomenon in many reptiles, the skin sloughing. Good job my friend.

1500 m a.s.l maybe is not a very high elevation, but I have not known that this species can occur so high :)
Very nice capture of rarely presented species. As always note is very interesting and informative, I like especially taxonomical part :>
All the best from Lodz my Friend!

power beautiful view details with better
have a nice w.end sERGIO
A very good looking black lizard showing up well even against the black background. The face and body (and sparkling eye) are wonderful with excellent details of the eye and the textures of the skin. I'm curious about the neck and what looks like a flap of skin.

Sorry for my delay! Thank you for this posting of Caucasian Agama!
you had achieved good clarity even with this sort of light condition, well done
have a very good sunday and sincere regards to the family
Another very interesting reptile Ahmet.
I'm continually anazed at how little I know about the world fauna and flora, compared to what I thought I knew of it before I joined TN.
I keep seeing new species every day.

This is a nice specie that I have never seen before. You were lucky to see him because he seems to be well hidden. I like his black color and you managed exposure well with nice details and interesting notes. Thanks,

I am impressed with your scientific trip and its result. They are very interesting in many respect (for biologists and other people, photographers). So attractive specimen and you managed to take very good shot in very poor light and other conditions. My best wishes and TFS.
P.S. Thanks for interesting comments and explanation of your comments to my ladybird picture.
