Hi Evelynn
This is a beauty! The white trunks of the Aspen have been exposed well and there is lovely depth looking through the trunks to the background.
Kind Regards
Vinny

Hello evelynn,
Autumn brings wonderfull colors in the woods but catching them is not an easy task in photography. You did it so well in your photo showing a shrp image with beautifull colors and a reachness of color tones.
Thank you for sharing,

Hi Evelynn
I think some of the best result are sometimes unplanned :) It happened to me as it happened to you and i think to many others...so i know how you feel :)
This is really gorgeous and i for one love the layers here. In the lower part you have darker green tones, then a contrasting bright part with the tree barks and some lovely oranges on top. If you would apply some grossian blur over this image, i think you'd get a beautiful vertical flag :)
Excellent and original, where this tight composition really works.
Bravo and TFS

Evelynn...this is beautiful!!! It is so warm and inviting. The colours are really great, even the forest floor has so many nice colours, textures and shadows. The white bark with the black marking adds such a nice contrast to the orange and yellow leaves. Really nice.

Wow, a veritable feast for the eye!
A sight to gladden the heart.
I love the warm palette, but the cool white aspens really add texture and complexity to this gorgeous scene.
So much depth in this outstanding composition.

Hello Evelynn,
Wow, what an explosion of colours! A lovely composition with focus on the white trunks and the bright round Aspen leaves. (Your Aspen seem to have whiter trunks than ours here - I must look it up!)
Many thanks and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Evelynn,

Hi Evelynn
Greetings from the wilds of Namibia - somewhere near the Fish River Canyon.
Beautiful colours and lovely composition - wonderful how we sometimes achieve a wonderful shot we didn't intend!

Wonderful colors Evelynn,
At first glance of your thumbnail image I thought these were White Birch trees, but you can definitely tell they are aspen by their leaves.
This is probably my favorite time of the year to be out in the woods, but then I realize all that cold and snow will be right behind it. Lovely shot!! TFS.

Hello Evelynn
Exquisite sharpness and colour.
The oranges pop out in an almost 3d effect.
The vertical tree trunks are lovely,i really like the aspen's white and black trunks.
They always seem to accentuate a shot.
Well seen and composed.
It looks like Beaver country.

Hi Evelynn
Yet another one from you, not planned not sought for but just a spur of the moment idea that turned out into a fantastic composition.
I love the story you have sourced to go along with the capture, it make the scene all the more interesting....i think the one element that makes this composition stand out is the clutch of round leaves that are promnenelty located in the right FG.They create a wonderful element that takes away the viewer's attention first before spreading the gaze to the rest of the shot. They are brghter and richer than those seen in the BG. I 'm absolutley impressed by the fall season moments you have been presenting and i hope someday i get to see this beautiful region of your in fall.
Thanks for sharing
Cheers

Hi Evelynn,
I really like the smooth texture of these Aspen. Its almost as if they were polished. The wonderful colors of their leaves are beautiful. The sight lights and the depth here are both great. I also like the vertical framing.

Gorgeous shades of orange and gold Evelynn. I love the hue colour of the trees as well. A very strong picture. TFS Trevor
