A beautiful sight of autumn in the forest and a wonderful composition! I like a lot the POV and the faint colors reflected on the water of the stream.

Hi Mate,
superb POV you chose here, very nice and low with huuuge depth. I would ask one question though - why the long exposure? Would a faster shutter speed not made more clarity of that reflection i suspect we would have seen? Just a thought, i still think it's a great shot! I particularly like the small heap of leaves in the bottom right hand corner that anchors the scene very well.

That's a great idea to blend a polarized view with a non polarized view. Thanks. There are some really beautiful parts to this image which I think get overlooked due to the brightness of the upper right hand corner. I tried an alternate crop just for fun.

This is a lovely landscape image.
The reflections are very beautiful.
I like the richness of detail,and natural colours.
A small woods and a creek runs through it,it leads the eye along.

I love the post, but can't help but feel that there is a very definite tilt to this picture... if you run with what is the only common reference point between the 'picture' and the reflection - that is the V shaped patch of sky in the top right hand corner of the picture, slightly in from the right by a couple of cm, before the 2 trunks, with its reflection in the water, then there is quite a significant slant...

Otherwise I really like the colours and the composition and the patch of leaves in the bottom right all add to a good picture. the greens especially come out really well.

It's both beautiful and peaceful at the same time. You did a very nice job on the pp the combination of two exposures with the polarizer tweaking combined enhances the photo to its best. Well done.

This is beautiful Horia, The eye is really drawn into the composition toward the lighted trees in the back. I like the idea of the merge of the two different exposures, but I am not sure where I can see which result. I like the different colored reflection on the water and the pile of leaves in the FG.

P.S. You might want to consider to buy a hot shoe spirit level. Its an item I'm going to buy this week.
