Congratulations with your 100th posting here on Trek Nature. Don’t we all get attracted to the site, because it is a place of sharing, learning and enjoying each others talents. Your choice for your 100th posting celebration I find very interesting and your notes just as much. It is great to learn on a subject that one do not have the knowledge of. I like your presentation. The sight of 100’s of tree stems in the background and the dried leaves and pieces of branches on the foreground, adds to that the beautiful sight of a pale green fungi, is just what the doctor ordered. Thanks for sharing. It is a most pleasant presentation. Kind regards.

First congratulations on Your 100th, I had my own not a long time ago too. Picture is really interesting, very nice perspective with the mushroom in front and large view on forest in back, very good focus, nice natural shade and light. Good colours. Amanita phalloides and muscaria are the most common in Poland species of amanita. I think almost everyone can name red, typicall mushroom of Amanita muscaria but not so many now how this much more dangerous Amanita phalloides looks like. Good note.
I hope You will find some free time to post something again.
Thanks for your comments and wish You the best.

This is a superb shot, Laszlo, and most interesting too. I like the low pov which shows at the same time the environment of the fungi. Even though there are many things in the frame, the central point of the picture is the fungi. You managed very well this situation for a beautiful and interesting picture. Thank you!

You have one of the deadlyest fungi there are an Amanita in there natural habitat.
They were in middle century brought for killing kings and other high people.
Good pov and beautiful clours.

thanks for the response to my fungi shot. There are always a lot to learn, and indeed such a good news to hear you have you fungi association.
This one is lovely with its natural colours and complemented by the intact surrounding you keep in full view. Well shown and such a useful note.
Excellent image to be shared.

Hi Baratom, sorry i missed this special posting from you and a belated congrats on reaching 100th posting, a great milestone on TN. A fine macro and landscape shot indeed. i love your DOF selection in all of your postings ie this. A razor sharp and splendid capture in all aroun my friend!
TFS and cheers,
