we encountered a group of pelicans on the way to swakopmund. i don't know why, but it was a dream for me taht came true. i always wanted to see a pelican and indeed we were lucky ! this one was just flying away to enjoy the others of the group. i made this pict. from the car and the quality is not that good. it is a bit dark as it also was a cloudy day...even though i hope you'll enjoy.

I like the moment that you captured here, showing very nicely how this bird takes of. The colors of the pelikan are very nice, and well contrasted to the relatively even background.
