what a beautiful weevil species and its great macro-shot. Great sharp focus, POV and composition with green leave. In last week, I found similar or same species of weevil. I try to take some shots. It done mimicric behaviour and looked like dead. Several times, I try, but I cant managed:)

Hallo Marie
This is such a lovely close-up and wonderful sight. A beautiful display of almost metallic colour and detail on one image. There are a lot of details on this weevil to observe, appreciate and admire. One of it being the segmented antennas which is displayed well and with great clarity. The big black eye and interesting paws is a stunner and in my personal opinion the highlight of this image. Voici un joli charencon bien présentée. J'aime le fait que la feuille se détache sur le fond. J'aurais peut-être aimé avoir l'extrémité droite de la feuille dans l'image ce qui aurait permis de décentrer encore plus l'insecte.
