This turtle baby was emerging from the sand of Heron Island ni the southern Barrier Reef in Australia. Most of its brothers were taken by gulls and small sharks. Some survived.

What a great big world this wee one is entering into. The entire composition is superb. The colours are clear and bright. Very good POV. Horizon is tilted but that is minor as the eye falls on the wee turtle. Nice work. Thanks.

Beautiful capture of what will hopefully be a beautiful journey for this little sea turtle. The composition emphasizes the challenge. Well done. The tilt in the horizon could be straightened or you might crop to the water.

Poor little soul! Maybe your intention was to tilt the horizon just to show the dangers ahead? Beautiful colours but a picture that makes you think more than anything. (Small is beautiful?)

Fantastic moment, great shot. One minus: i'd rather erase with photoshop the dots of bird and ships shown in the backround.
