Altre informazioni sulle cavallette

Acrididae

Oedipoda caerulescens

Hi Maurizio,

An excellent capture of this very well commouflaged grasshopper. It's amazing how well he stands out from the similarly colored pebbles. Razor sharp details from the tips of his antennae to the tip of his tail. The face and body are magnificent. Beautiful natural colors and a wonderful composition.

I like the way he is camouflaged with the bg.
very good detail and with beautiful colour.

I am always surprised at the number of species of this simple thing. I spent most of my life thinking they all looked the same. This one looks like out of WWII from the desert wars in Norther Africa:-) Excellent work.

Hi Maurizio. A first class close up of the grasshopper. It blends in so well with the BG colours. Your side POV lets us see all of the details. well done TFS
Nick..

Ciao Maurizio,
A superb macro of a Blue-winged Grasshopper showing its camouflage colouring against the grit BG when not flying.
Fine lateral POV with great sharpness and good DOF.
It would be great to photograph this in flight, but that is not easy1

Ciao,

Murizio,
Your gallery is very impressive, All the shots are just beautiful in many ways. Even this one doesn't have all the bright and colorful flowers and green backdrop. You still managed to make it looks so pleasing to the eyes. Great details with all the colors almost blending in and the glass hopper nearly disappear into the background. Excellent works. Thanks
Way

Hi Maurizio!

I sometimes regret that my Italian is not very good. I like reading your notes very much, but when it gets too "technical" or too scientific I have to check a lot of words in the dictionary... Here, in this picture, I like the unity of the colour tones very much and I'm impressed by the clarity and sharpness of the picture. I also believe that you know your 300mm lens very well.

Kind regards

arkus

Ciao Maurizio,
I like the matching background that almost has the same colors and patterns with the grasshopper, and still your model is well seperated from the background. Well exposed and composed image.
Grazie e complimenti,
Selen

Your great looking hopper is well camouflaged in the sand Maurizio, a great survival technique :)

Bonjour Maurizio,
Anne
