[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It has been a few months since I have been able to get on TN. My computer crashed, and I ended up losing a lot of photos, I have most of them backed up, but I lost all of my recent photographs. I am very disappointed as I had many favourites among them that I had not been able to upload yet. Anyways, This shot was taken n the fall on Goulais Bay, near Kelly Creek. I have a camp there and we have a staircase going down to the beach looking over the bay, which is where this shot was taken from.

Adjusted Curves

(I hadn't noticed until after I uploaded the image that the horizon could be rotated a tad. I guess I'll just have to pay more attention in my next post!)
Hope you like it!

Hi tina.

Really nice shot. The foreground rocks lead nicely into the shot while the golden leaves frame it nicely. The cloud formations look awesome its just a shame that the sky is ever so slightly burnt out near the horizon.
ps what happened with your 10-20? did you get a better copy?

Its not good to hear you lost your photos that way. That is not good at all. However, I have no doubts that with your skill and dedication, you'll rebuild your portfolio in no time at all.
This is a great shot. I didn't notice the slight rotation until I read your note :) Looks great to me.

Best Regards,

Hi Tiina

Nice to see you back here, even if that means about hearing such sad news :( It always sucks to lose photos...i've been through that 2 years ago, too so i know how bad it can be. I still have to save money for a secondary external harddrive, though...

Anyway, this is a lovely shot here from you.
I like the composition that you went for here - symmetry is the word here in my opinion and it looks great.
Wonderful colors in the upper half, terrific textures in the lower and overall a lovely balance of the exposure. Nicely done!

Bravo and TFS

PS: what happened to you 10-20mm Sigma in the end?

Hi Tiina,
Wow, a beautiful Fall photograph!! The frame of the tree showing it's colors brings this shot to life. A beautiful spot to sit and ponder. Nicely done.

This is lovely Tiina. I really like the foreground elements. The sky is interesting too. The sharpness, color, and exposure are all good!

Greeting Ti Ke, This is not a your full name is it? I like it, it's very easy to spell :) Okay I just saw it below your image. Hi Tiina with 2 ii.
this is a very beautiful image, I like the vertical formation that include the beautiful autumn leaves of what look like maple. and the tranquil bay so serene and peaceful. Beautiful soft light and color, very natural and beautiful without overly saturated or contrast. Thanks.

Hi Tina!

You present us a delightful landscape picture. You have created a warm and tender atmosphere where the yellow of the leaves contrasts in a superb way with the blue of the lake and the sky. The picture reflects the automnal ambience very well.

Kind regards

Hello Tina,

Beautiful composition of this seascape. Excellent vertical framing. I like the way you cropped with the tree above and the rocks bellow. Great light and colours.

Hi Tiina,
I love the softness of this photo. The soft light of the late sun and the texture of the clouds gives this photo a wonderful tranquil feel. I also like the way you composed the photo. The rocks are a great leadline and the leaves on the top create a wonderful natural frame. The splash of yellow leaves do give the photo a wonderful extra color.
