Beautiful picture, Murali.
The bright light has highlighted the bird's features very well.
I am charmed by that sharp eye.
Spelled "Drongo", by the way.
If you are wondering which Drongo - this one is pretty easy because of the presence of the "rictal macula" (i.e., that little white spot on the mandibular commissure). It means that it is a Black Drongo (Dicrurus macrocercus). The mottling ventrally, means that this is an immature Black Drongo.

Very simple yet very beautiful image, very good impact because of creative composition, good use of light and pose of the bird. wonderful image. Good many details and pleasant colors including the background.
It would have been great had the tail part was not hidden behind the twig, well that's how the nature photography works. Its not a draw back at all, still the image perfect. tfs.

Very beautiful photo of this Black Drongo. It's a pity that you can't fully see the beautiful tail of this bird. But the photo is sharp in great contrasting colours against the OOF BG. Very nice pose and an excellent composition.

Murali, Wow what a catch. Not an easy shot. The color of the bird and the eye focus is perfect and superb lighting. Well done Sir. Ganesh
