Well, thank you my friends for your kind words. I feel much better now and I hope my two months 'marathon' of illness is over.

Today was perfect weather for little photo trip, so I grabbed my cam and went to nearby Zdrowie Park. I was hoping to capture fungi, but no luck again. All Park was looking very brown and sad. I founded few pathetic fungi growing on branch and trunks but nothing interesting. When I was heading home I saw few birds around my favourite spot - large trunk full of seeds and nuts left for animals by dwellers of my settlement. There were tits, jays, magpies, crows and few more. Few minutes later I photographed this cute 'fungus' :-) Light was strange so colours are also weird, but I like it. It really looks like squirrel during Polish winter when Sun is always very low over horizon and shadows are long. To be honest it looks like stuffed, but believe me - it was alive :-)

Hello Greg,
Glad to hear that you are feeling better!
Great frame-filling capture of a Red Squirrel taken from an excellent POV with superb sharpness and in excellent lighting. This is a fine compensation for the lack of fungi.
Thanks for sharing this delight,
Best wishes,
Ivan

Hi again Greg

Nice to hear you are feeling much better and going out again. Also nice to hear you had some goo weather for a change :)

This is one of the most beautiful fungi i've ever seen :))
Excellent close-up here with a perfect balance of the exposure in my personal opinion.
Your perfectly parallel POV helped you in getting the entire squirrel in full focus and therefore all the details there are pin-sharp.
Wonderful work, mate!

Bravo and TFS
Horia

PS: you are still coming at our TN meeting next year, right? You'll be happy to hear we are gathering more folks that want to come :)

Red 45 is back and most strong of yesterday with this excellent capture of Polish red squirrel...take a care Grzegorz!

Hi Grzeggzzy,
I think you have here some kind of red slime mold.
This is similar to the kind that grows on old bread and citrus fruit.
A very good capture of this fluffy fungi with nice rich colour.
Great shot.
Cheers
Steve

This should be a big one G! It is the best of such in true colours which I have ever seen and in this way it really points out the difference in squirrels...A grand show G! Well done!

Pozdrawiam
Adrian

Hey Greg, I didn't know you were coping with some illness!! It appears you are okay now and I am relieved immensely. Take care, man.

This 'golden' Squirrel is a heart-winner. It is so cute. You have used the intensity of light very effectively here to turn this image into a super quality work of art.
Thanks and keep warm.
Regards.

Cześć Grzesiu
Super zdjęcie, ostrość nieprawdopodobna.
Wiewiórka wygląda jakbyś ją podkolorował jakimś sprayem, szczególnie na ogonie i uszach ;)
Super spotkanie i gratulacje

Dear Grzegorz,
Polish squirrel in very nice frame filling pose.
Beautiful warm illumination, highlighting the body curves and fine hairs in long shadown in a fine way, and bringing equisite colours.
Thank you! With all my best wishes to you.
Peter
