I hope you like it!

Hi Joe,

It' been a while since we've seen a dragonfly from you. A nice one from last spring with the beautiful blue tail and that wonderful violet of the body. Captured in a great position. A perfect background and composition.

Hi Joe

I think this is a Ischnura elegans, too, but anyway this is one splendid macro!
The tones and colors here are just terrific and it's them that first make the damsel stand out from the picture. Blue and green are always a top combination and this is a perfect example for that.
Other than those, the details are all impeccably sharp, the diagonal composition classic - always works - and the exposure is spot-on, retaining excellent details from everywhere.

Bravo and TFS
Horia

Hi OwlMan,

Hello Joe,

Wonderful sharp image with beautiful pov, dof and colours.

Hi Joe
Good capture of what may be an immature or slight variation of the Blue-tailed Damsel. Good blurry background means the subject stands out well.
Kind Regards
Vinny

Well framed, nice POV and BG..
Hope Santa brings ya all you've wished for :)
