managed to get up close to this dragonfly last year. i had to do a little work to blur the background he did blend in fairly well. that's when dof pays off when insects are well camouflaged.

My best wishes in New Year. Your first shot in 2009 is wonderful. Especially I like unusual, delicate and lovely colours of the shot. Pictured dragonfly is very nice as well as the plant which it has selected for rest. Details of the insect are excellent. Well done and TFS.
