This Northern Cardinal is a frequent visitor to our feeders, In the winter their red color is very striking against the snow. This shot was taken in the back your of our home.

hello Bob

Welcome to TN community. Your 1st post entry has received very favorable feedback and your 2nd post here although a bit soft in sharpness, is also a good capture of the red cardinal showing nice color in the winter background. The contrast perhaps may look good with a bit of tweaking. But I find you have shot this very nicely in framing using your well-prepared zoom lens at f/7.1 aperture. Looks like your bird shots are well done and easy for you.

Hi Bob,
Very beautiful capture of this Northern Cardinal; great pose and composition, bright natural colours, excellent pale and blurred BG. Unfortunately the bird is slightly soft. Did you sharpen it in post process and/or did you shoot through the window? I made a WORKSHOP and tried to fix that, hope you don't mind.

I think the workshop on this cardinal helped it in a side-by-side comparison.
