En dehors des périodes d'accouplement où ils sont sollicités presque chaque quart d'heure pendant plusieurs jours, les lions passent une grande partie de leur temps à dormir ou bailler. Le temps de la chasse se limite aux heures fraîches, de la tombée de la nuit jusqu'à l'aube.

Outside of mating periods during which they are in demand almost every 15 minutes during 3 or 4 days, male lions spend most of their time to sleep or yawn. Hunting time is restricted to cooler hours, from dusk to dawn.

Hi Patrick. I am not to sure as to why your pictures are not atracting more comments. When you see a picture of the quality its hard not to stop by and make comments. This is a first class close up of the Male Lion. You focusing and detail in the coat is spot on. This one i like very much. I will be putting this in my favourites file. well done TFS.
