Hello Laurens,
You have exhaust your frog collection? ;)
This is a very beautiful snake.
I Think the tongue is a little bittle blurry, but there are beautiful natural colors and a very good composition.
Very well done
Best regards
Pierre

Cool capture Laurens,
Perfect timing with the snakes tongue fully extended, interesting comp & POV.
I like the point of focus on the near eye and snakes nose/mouth.
Great self portrait on your TN profile page too :)

Stunning shot of a snake's face with its forked tongue fully out, Laurens.
You were quick enough to capture this split second movement.
The focus on the face is very sharp and the colours too are well captured with the use of flash.
Well done and thanks for sharing this marvellous image.

Magical and mesmerizing eyes which makes these snakes so fascinating for so many centuries to the mankind. You too have good eyes to spot this fellow and captured with good composition and depth. tfs.

Hallo Laurens,
Maaaaaar: Een topfoto!
Groet,
Peter

Hello Laurens !
I didn't think it posible, but this snake looks actually very cute :-) I love his big eyes, his funny lokk, his tongue sticking out - almost as if it is making faces to you ! :-) I love the short DOF, allowing only the eyes and muzzle to be in focus, and I also like the dark BG which makes it stand out very nicely. Very well done !
Valerie.

Hello Laurens,
Very fine and minimalistic composition, which I appreciate a lot. Beautiful dark green background enhancing the special look of this lizard coming out of the dark. Nice to walk with your son looking for animals and insects.
Best regards

Excellent shot!! The pitch black background makes the snakle stand out really well, and the shaply focussed head in this pov looks so much different from what we familiar with. I love the flickering tongue also. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Laurens,
if it is big I would consider it as a serpent. Excellent clarity with the tongue rolling out. The eyes are big and ferocious, the colours are scary.
Well captured shot, and youre really great in having this shot captured.
Very outstanding and superblu special.
Hard to get one like this.
Regards,
Foozi
