Baby White Tiger
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|The white tiger (also known as the Bengal tiger) is about 3 meters long, and weighs approximately 180-285 kg (400-569 LB). Itís coat lies flatter than that of the Siberian tiger, the tawny color is richer and the stripes are darker. |
White tigers are white colored bengals, they are not albinos and they are not a seperate subspecies of tigers.
They have blue eyes, a pink nose, and creamy white furr covered with chocolate colored stripes. White tigers are born to tigers that carry the unusual gene needed for white coloring. Wild white tigers are very rare.

Nice portrait. I don't know where you were standing for the picture, but surely not between him and his mother. Clear sharp image well exposed. It looks ready to jump on you. Nice shot and TFS.
touching portrait of that shy and vulnerable looking baby white tiger - such a rare and noble beauty. Outstanding image, frame filling, lively and powerful, and very gentle at the same time.
With thanks, and best regards,
P.S.: Please excuse my feeling tempted to crop a slight part at the upper border in order to remove the slightly distracting dark contours of some artificial parts of environment to the upper right, and also in order to further increase the concentration on the face - just by reducing the frame to 660 pixels height. :)

Hi Chi Liu,
Long time no see!
I finally got to go to the Safari Park in GZ last summer,
and I got to see all their white tigers, including a number of cubs.
However, none of my pictures came out!
So I am really happy to see your beautiful shot here.
What sharp details on this cute face. They really have amazing colors, don't they?
TFS. : )
