Hello Everyone,

I escaped here, to Worbarrow Bay on Saturday, on a rare warm and sunny February day...as with most places along the coast, you need only make the effort to walk for half an hour in either direction to find yourself in complete isolation. This was taken at the far western end of the beach, where it felt like i was the only person left in the world.
Peace and quiet...something that has been missing from TrekNature of late...i feel a little more reassured that our efforts here won't be exploited and i hope we can continue to share the places we go and the creatures we find with one another. It's just a shame we've lost some irreplacable members and of course their photos too.

Although this was a very bright day, i used a Cokin ND4 filter combined with a Circular Polariser to gain a slower shutter speed to achieve the effect of movement on the water i was after. I also used a sremote shutter release and mirror lock to ensure as much sharpness as possible. The rest is thanks to Mother Nature :o)

Hope you like it, thanks for looking..

Hi Paul. Good to see you are still posting. We would miss this type of first class picture from you. This one is in a class of its own. You have used your kit to its best. Which has given you fine detail and bright colours. I like the way you have captured the sea around the rock in the forground. i must have missed this blue sky on sat, well done TFS.
Nick..

Hello Paul,
What a spectacular photo. The exposure is exceptional, great!
Perfect POV and splendid colours in a very impressive composition. A masterpiece!
Regards,
Peter

Great to see you again Paul!
In these days it is especially important!!! :>
Lovely scenery and very mobile picture (I like water effect :>).
The area of Dorset is probably the best "known" for me among all parts of Great Britain - thanks to your pictures :>
What to say more? I hope that it is come back not for "a moment" :>
Greetings from Lodz,
Radomir

Well my bearded friend, this is a shot of shots. The water movement shown here is like a cauldron of demonology thrust into my visual sensor. WOW diggity WOW. If I were not a friend then I might say a few more nice things but people may think I was being an "Egg Sucker".
Enough of the words just YES, you have lines for the eye to follow that is drawn via the water movement back to the central rock. Well layed out which is pleasing to me.

Hello Paul,
This is an incredible photo my friend captured in the middle of
day.. Very nice texture, indeed it looks very peaceful and quiet
.. Well done..

Everton

Aaah, a typical Paul Haynes capture, in dept producing wide angle of course, and a characteristic long exposure producing that silky effect on moving water! A great naturescape my friend, a tilt of four-five degrees to the right would make it an exceptional one...
Cheers,
Mehmet

hello Paul

a superb Seascape/Landscape photo, i love the foreground
of the photo where is dynamic with the waves
and the background where is peace & quiet,
shot always with fine POV and DOF, excellent contrast, TFS

Asbed

The magic here is the composition and as in golf where one uses just the right club? You used just the right lens this time to catch the special curves in the waves...it is a nice break for me to gaze on such scenes as if I was almost there...I'm glad I have my video to keep me occupied while Creator makes a cloudy, snowy mess of the western Washington..
Bob

Hi Paul,
This is another awesome shot with fantastic depth, colour and detail.
The foreground action of the waves is amazing.
There seems to be a row of pixels across the sky towards the top where darker and lighter areas meet. I've been seeing this a bit lately in a few shots, and I think its something to do with shooting at certain angles towards the light. Had you noticed it?
Its still an awesome shot.I'm sure you can fix that wee glitch.
TFS & Cheers,
Steve

Hi Paul!

Both - you and mother nature - have made a great job. Moreover, the picture suits the beautiful and deep notes very well. I have also tried to do this in my last posting, also believing it is important to give positive impulsions.

Thanks for this!

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Paul,
this is an awesome seascape picture, the colours and light are beautiful,
The pictures is well composed wiht rock in the middle nicely placed out of the centre. Good deep with sharp details from FG to BG. It's also well exposed, the sku is fading nicely from dark to light in the horizon.
A small minor is the rock down who is a bit distracting.
I have been looking for this picture in minutes and maybe it's a vision and the water fool me but I think it's a very small leaning to left but it could be me. Nevertheless it's a great and wonderful picture.
Well done.
Gert

Hi mate

Nice to see you're back to posting here, too :) After all those great members and friends that had left i was really sad, but now, knowing that i still have some of my best friends here, i, too can go on posting freely :)

I also see you've bought a full ND filter ;) I got a Hoya 8-stop about a month ago :) I'm not expecting great quality from it (since it was a bargain), but it was a bargain and if i like the effects it produces, i'll probably upgrade to a better brand.
I really like your effect here and the beautiful capture you've got.
The effect of the motion of the water is really superb and the curves and textures it retained are exceptional.
Very nice scene, properly exposed and saturated.

Bravo and TFS

Hi Paul.
Brilliant POV and framing of the wonderful landscape. Fantastic reproductions of movements of the waves. Lights and clearness f the colours as well as transparency of the image are outstanding. Sharpness is razor. My congratulations and TFS. Breathtaking work.
