Pileated Woodpecker

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Since we moved in our new home in the country side and installed a bird feeders, we are blessed with the visit of many birds each day. This one is a female Red-Headed Woodpecker that comes in average twice a day. I am always impressed by the size of this nice bird (in average 45cm).
Update:
Thanks to PeterZ that corrected the ID of this Woodpecker. Definitely not the Red-Headed. This proves that I am not a bird expert ;)

Hello Patrick,
Wrong ID. This is not the Red-headed Woodpecker, but the Pileated Woodpecker, dryocopus pileatus.
Beautiful photo,
Regards,
Peter
