[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today an upload of couple of relative small woodepeckers,I think it might be a couple of cardinal woodpeckers, but maybe someone can confirm...

The original picture was underexposed (it was a clody day, just after some rainfall and thelight was not good,it is a rather heavy crop but as it shows a couple and wanted to share it with you, luckely I shoot most of the time in RAW (and JPEG) so I was able to lift this capture a bit up,alyhough I know it is not a superb capture I like it,thanks for your time and hope someone can help with the ID.

Hello Paul,
A well-composed capture of a male and female Cardinal Woodpecker (Dendropicos rufescens). Though you were unable to come close the image is sharp enough to see the features and for me to come up with this ID suggestion.
Best wishes,
Ivan

Hallo Paul,
Groet,
Peter

Hi Paul. I see you have the name thanks to Ivan. I like the pose you have capture with what looks like the birds climbing the tree. well done TFS.
nick..

Hello Paul
I am pleased that Ivan has confirmed your ID on the Subject.
I also think this picture is great..I can see what the peckers are doing by the bugs visible in the beak of the lower one.
A great capture and TFS
All The Best
Billy

Paul, This seem to be a woodpecker though I am not sure. The shot is so beautiful and you are lucky to spot two of them. TFs Ganesh
