[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Freeloader; you've met him. He's the naughty little squirrel that has a thing for bird feeders - and I've caught him many a time.

The other day when I captured this, I had to laugh. He was making his way toward yet another feeder that had just been filled. He zipped over the wire and was so quick I only managed to grab this single shot.

Most here are aware that I frequently name squirrels that I come in contact with on a regular basis; it took some thinking, but finally, this fellow has been christianed Freeloader. If the name fits, give your applause; if you can think of a better one - also suited to his antics, I'm all ears.

Also, thanks to all of you who have offered sympathy on the passing of my mama; that's a good deal of the reason I'm not here right now.

Even when prepared, some days are very difficult - such as today - but then I run across a scamp like the one pictured here and laugh. On the inside of Heaven, I believe Mama is laughing too.

Take care,

Hi Kathy,
I can definitely see the devilish look in his eyes, as he is contemplating on just who's feeder he will hit next! I believe you've named this little guy perfectly!
Very amusing image with good detail, exposure and colors! TFS.
