Hello Tsotsito !
I love bats, but we do not see them very often on TN - and you even managed to capture it in flight ! That's fantastic ! You have frozen the bat in a great pose, I have the impression he's going to land in my face ! :-) Excellent details, nice natural colors, wondeful composition and great POV. Very well done !
Valérie.

Hi Tsotsito,
great shot for my favourite animal. congratulations indeed. flying bats very hard to capture. as you know, European bats active after dusk, we cant see them in day-time. probably it was disturbed by a bird and maybe humans. I'd like to help identification, if you have another shot, especially from lateral aspect or face details, I can say its species. In first view, it is similar a Pipistrellus member, with small size and general appearance. but its ears and tragi longer. I think it may be a Myotis mystacinus or similar species.
if you have additional shot please send to my e-mail: [email protected] or add as a workshop.
thanks for sharing, best wishes
Ahmet
