Magnífica fotografía Joe. Gran encuadre y plumaje captado de manera soberbia. Enhorabuena.
Buen fin de semana: Josep Ignasi.
Hi Joe,
This is a spectacular capture of the Barn Owl.
I'm very sorry to hear that you are leaving.
I'm not sure why you feel you need to go,but I respect your decision.
Personally,I feel the whole outcry about copyright issues was due to a misunderstanding, and I don't believe that IB ever had any intent to sell our images, but I've covered all that in the forums.
Did you read them all ?
Anyway, good luck with whatever you do next.
For myself, I take photos to share, not to sell so I'm quite happy to keep posting here.
Maybe you'll come back one day.
I hope so.
Cheers, and thanks for your amazing contribution over the last two years.
Steve
OK...Peace and love from my wife and I....one has to do what is best for them...and although we shall miss you, we know in todays world...you're right around the digital corner..God Bless...

Joe, This is one of the best shots that i've seen. Blur of the wings shows movement and the frozen and crisp face shows focus! Excellent capture young man.

Hello Joe,
It is nice to see another post from you, but it is also sad that you have decided to move on.
A fine capture of this bird with impressive wing span showing the strength of your Sigma possesion.I like the motion blur registered on the wings while showing off the nice pair of those orange eyes and its body in good sharpness and clarity. This is really a large bird.
Yours has been an amazing talent that has grown with admirable zeal here on TN. I do respect your decision...fortunatley the door that opens out also opens in ...see you around.
All my best wishes,
Silpa

Hi Joe.
It is so sad news. However, it manly decision and I respect it. It is clear we will lack your wonderful pictures here and contact you. Let all will be best with you and in your life.
Superb timing and amazing pictured moment. Pose of the owl cannot be more impressive. I also like wonderful exposure of the image and ultimate details of the bird. Diagonal composition of the shot and framing are bricklaying. TFS and kind regards.
Alexei.

I'm not surprised of your departure but it might be a good decision, well, one that you decided to do. Go on with your life, I am sure that photography will remain a big part of it ,maybe as a professional, which you already are. Thanks to you for your spontaneity and wonderful animal world. I just loved looking through your eyes to the animal kingdom. Bye bye dear Joey,
Francine

Hello Joe
The site I would say has been very helpful to you in accelerating your learning curve (mine as well) from the many great photographers that are keen to share their knowledge and experiences.
That said there is always a time to move on and you have picked the right time imho, you have clear ambitions and I am certain with your energy and enthusiasm you will achieve and exceed them.
Now for this glorious Owl you have posted.
Its not an easy capture due to the wings being so broad and him being in a braking position, you have given him a sense of movement but I think you wanted to stop him dead sharp all over?
You have the main focal point spot of the glowing eyes perfect.
All The Best to you Joe and I am sure I shall be tipping my hat in appreciation to your work in the future.

Dear Joe,
This is an excellent in flight shot. Perfect focus, good sharpness and fantastic wing position captured. The blurriness in the wings gives it an impression of movement. The OOf background highlights the bird in the frame. Excellent composition too.
I am sorry to hear about your decision to leave us, Joe.
I still have not made up my mind. thogh we all keep in touch through FB and G talk I do miss TN.:(
All the best my dear, it has been a pleasure seeing your phots and reading your critiques in TN.
Regards,
Smitha.

Dear Joe-
Just catching up after a very busy time outside TN. Terrific capture of the eyes of a killer.
So sorry to see you go. I have no doubt that you will find your way in photography wherever you end up. Best of luck to you (not that you need much of it, with your level of skill).
Warm regards,
Bob
