|The Asian Pied Starling (Gracupica contra), also known as Pied Myna, is a species of starling found in South and Southeast Asia.|
Description: Length 9 inches. Sexes are alike. The entire head and neck are black except for an elongated white patch from the base of the beak through the eye backwards. Iris yellowish-white eyelids and an orange bare patch in front of the eye. Legs are yellowish-white.
The pied myna is common and widely distributed in India and the Burmese countries to Java, being divided into several races.

Hi Sowmya. This is a bird i have not seen before so thanks for posting on TN. It looks a very streamline bird . You have taken it with good detail and natural colours. A good POV/DOF. well done TFS.
You have done a good job in this picture of a Pied Mynah, Sowmya.
From your POV, the bird looks beautiful in its frontal aspect.
Focus is sharp and the colours are rich.
The light, apparently, was well utilized in this picture.
