Hi Mario
excellent beautiful merganser species, my favourite duck. It also occurs in Black Sea area here in winter period. I took it once, but I couldnt capture nearly as much as yours. this is really wonderful. congratulations. splendid colors and reflection. sharp focus, eyes contac and POV/OOF also great. Nicely composed. thanks for sharing this beauty. best wishes

Beautiful colours Mario. I'd have cut a half an inch off the top of the picture to center the bird more though. You got good detail overall. I only wish I could get this close to one of these birds. Very nice shooting. Trevor

Hi Mario,
he is a very handsome duck and that wild looking crest and red eye have my undivided attention. There are no issues as far as exposure, colour, pov that I can see with this image and as Trevor has said maybe a slightly different crop would make it that much better, but really it is great looking as is.Thanks for sharing his wonderful diving drake with us all.He gets to be part of the red eyed birds theme of mine. Bob

Hello Marion,
so the spring has come to Canada with beautiful birds.
This one is really beautiful, both in colours and pattern.
Nice low POV and very good sharpness.
The reflection is a good bonus.
Well done.

Super sharp and great color. Nice job with this. Gary

Good job on the merganser I find that they are hard to get close to. Also, one of my favorite ducks. I find it amazing that this bird nests in tree cavities!
