[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello,

thanks to everyone who commented on my last photo, much appreciated. At last it is now just light enough in the evenings for me to once more begin photographic expeditions after work. Although my range is still limited before sundown, there's now enough time for me to get here, to the beach right by my house at Hengistbury Head.
The weather yesterday was random isolated downpours inbetween bright sunshine, typical conditons here in the UK as the seasons change. I knew the air would be clear and the sunlight golden so i got to the nearest place i know of that might offer some good opportunities.
This is a spot i have posted shots from quite a few times, but as always, each time you visit the same place it's always different...

Hope you like it, thanks for looking and have a great weekend everyone..

Hi Paul,

What an amazing sky (clouds). The sunlight gives a very special effect on your photo. The low position of the sun gives a nice glow on the waves. A beautiful evening lightshow.

Have a nice weekend and TFS BOB

Hi Paul. More evening light next week after the clocks change. You will never get the same sky as you hadin this one. I like the golden colours of the late sun. Also refecting on the sea. And the bolders in the forground. Great detail in the waves . TFS.
Nick..

Have a good weekend.

Hello Paul,
The exposure at 1/3 second gives a very beautiful and special effect in the waves here. Splendid light and colours. And, as always, a perfect DOF. Excellent composition.
Have a great weekend and to early for the 'end of days',
Peter

I am amazed, Paul. Most of the time, you photograph the coastline with sunset and waves but it's incredible how each one is unique! Moments go by and your pictures really show it. Not a single moment is identical to the one preceding or the one following, life is fluid like the waves of the ocean. We realize that when we start photographing, life goes by so swiftly in front of a lens. And you capture it very well, we could philosophise so much looking at your pictures. I love the thick layer of clouds coming in (or out!), the superb golden light and the magnificent current of the water at the foreground. Life is eternal in a way, don't you think? Thank you,

Francine

Nice moody shot of this swirling tide Paul.
Glad you are able to get out to shoot more now.
TFS & cheers,
Steve

hello Paul,
What an amazing conjunction of similar shapes in the air and on the water!
Great to have seen it and of course you have chosen the ideal point of view. Very original picture, excellent sharpness and composition, like always
Best regards
Anne

Wow! The stillness of the rock and clouds combined with the motion of the water make for an amazing photo. Great capture.

This is a very cool shot, it shows a lot of movement. You times the shutterspeed just right to create a very unusual effect with that wave,
nicely done,
TFS
