Great straight forward frontal portrait of a Giraffe. The technicalities are up to you usual high standard and the composition perfect for the POV.
(I think you took this in Dec 2008, not at the end of this year!)

Hi Annick,
Mooie foto, maar niet een van je toppers. Dat komt, denk ik, maar ja wie ben ik, door de compositie. Met alleen de kop, zonder zo veel nek, was de foto wat intiemer overgekomen, denk ik. Technisch overigens erg goed in erg mooie kleuren.

I hope you are ok, my friend...it's been quite some time since we "chatted", but let me just tell you that, to me, it's always a bit pleasure to visit your gallery here :)
This is a gorgeous shot in which the symmetry works SUPERBLY!
The frontal POV is just outstanding and the side lighting on the giraffe really does give it a good depth and saturation for the colors.
