[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

nothing of much real interest in this one, just a good old fashioned piece of driftwood.
I spotted it wrestling with the surf whilst taking a stroll along the beach outside my house about a month or so ago. As with most bits driftwood, i have no idea where it came from, or where it will end up...much like the random strangers we pass everyday without really noticing..

Thanks for looking...

Ciao Paul, wonderful seascape with fantastic exposure, very well done, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hola Paul,

Saludos: Josep Ignasi.

I've thought about copying your style, Paul, but then think, what the heck! You're doing it so well, that no one else can do the same! I keep saying this, mate, you're the best, not as a blib, but due to being consistent superseding all expectations.
Respect, bro!

Nothing much of real interest??? Paul, you gotta' be kidding!! This photograph speaks to me the way the bird in Jonathan Livingston Seagull spoke to the reader. Absolutely great and exciting photograph!! I'll save this one for sure.

hello Paul
very good glance and composition, wonderful photo

Hi Paul,
I still haven't worked out how to do this ... time exposures in broad daylight I mean.
I don't think my camera is up to it actually.
The effect is great though.

Hi dear Paul ,

Hello Paul,
Before opening the picture I thought it might be snow..but nice surprise to see this driftwood coming from some unknown place and having its proper history of life. Beautiful evening light illuminating the seascape.
Well done
Kind regards and a nice weekend

Aaah, another wonderful wide angle-slow shutter speed combination from the master of this class! Some of the warm colours suggests that this was taken close to a sunset. Strange though, the occasional driftwoods we see around the beaches of Izmir are generally white!...

I feel "sucked up" by the retiring waves in this picture, heading me on an elves boat somewhere ;-) Great picture Paul, nothing much as you say but a million words at the same time. The light, the light!
