[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Seaside Daisy (Erigeron glaucus): I photographed this immature specimen while hiking the Grey Whale Cove Trail. The flower has not yet opened, but even so, it caught my eye due to the interesting colors displayed on the corolla. Mature flowers are broad, pale pink to lilac with yellow centers. Its petals are 1-1.5 inches across. Stems are lightly haired. The flower blooms from April to August and is native to Oceanside bluffs along the California coast.

Hello Gary,
Like you I appreciate a lot flowers not yet opened, but being like a promise of beauty.. Interesting contrast between the dark background and the greenish flower. Good framing too.
Thanks and best regards
Anne
