It's bright, it's striking, it's beautiful, it's a fine specimen, the photo is perfectly composed and it's a great capture of a weed that I have been spending hours removing from my lawn. The Dandelion is a persistant but attractive weed that bees and other insects love but we can't let them take over can we Bob!
Great shot of the flower.

Very good detail and color!! Your correct about them being pretty, we take a lot of things for granted in life when it comes to so called common things, and this is one of them.
If it wasn't for dandelions I wouldn't have any yard, mine is covered with these bright little yellow flowers. TFS.

I think you reached a point this winter where you thought you would never see flowers up there again. Just a dandelion but a beautiful picture of this perfect specimen. The vivid yellow against the green is lovely. Clarity is superb. I love this composition.

Brilliant macro shot with perfect details, sharpness & luminosity. In India, it is 0650h & I am enjoying my cup of hot tea with this Taraxacum flower on the monitor screen.....this makes my day. Hope to share its wine at Cheney too (chuckle). TFS this photograph.

C'est minimaliste mais très expressif avec un remarquable effet 3 D.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
Bob, have you read "Dandelion Wine" by Ray Bradbury? If not, it's a good read. Thanks for the glimpse of Spring. I thought it might be nice to focus on the flower and less on the grass, so I did a workshop—hope you like it.

The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the dandelion. The picture is clear and sharp. The grass is framing well the flower. THe light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Brilliant color! It's like sunshine. I've never been one to chase weeds away. I figure if its green, it can stay.

Dandy and stunning indeed. The off-centred positioning is just perfect contrasting well with the green bg. Such fine details of the petals which is not easy on yellow. TFS.
Have a wonderful weekend ahead and best regards.
