Fantastic close-up shot of the wasp nest! I do admire your heroics, Wishnu, but please be careful, even for the sake of a beautiful shot, haha... Very sharp details and excellent composition. Interesting content. Do you know what the white things are? Well done and TFS. : )

excellent view of this nest, congratulations on getting so close! The structure is amazing to look at, the hive is very nicely in focus and the detail and texture is great. The hornet working away in there adds to the image, a top shot.
Good one Sabine! You did a great job on the macro and yes, you were very brave! Merry Christmas to you and your husband.
Hi Sabine, Good photo. I know what you mean. The wasps can be very nasty if you get to cose to their nest. We have a similar one in South Africa, but it is red in colour. This specimen seems like a Yellow Jacket paper wasp that has been introduced to South Africa from Europe and is foune in the southern parts of our country. TFS.
an good picture from these insects with good pov and details.
So this are dangerous.
