[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am uncertain what type of bea eaters these are; however, it was unique to see them all bunched together. This was taken in the early morning and I suppose they were doing this to keep warm through the night and perhaps prevent some dew on their wings.

Taken with a friend's Canon EF 100-400 f/4-5.6L IS USM lens. To keep things steady, a bean bag was used on the roof in addition to the lens' IS feature.

Hello Dan!
This is a perfect documentary picture! You very really lucky to see these 5 so close to each other :) I can not help you with ID (I believe that Peter [PeterZ] will be able :>).
The DOF is not perfect this time, but the most important is the composition and the special moment as for me :>
Greetings,
Radomir

Hello Dan,
An excellent capture of a row of Little Bee-eaters (Merops pusillus, ssp cyanosticus) taken with good sharpness, lighting and colours in this almost frame-filling image.
With this as an inspiration perhaps you can start taking more shots like this with your own lens!
Thanks and regards,
Ivan

Hello Dan,
What a marvelous photo! Five in a row. Ivan is correct about the ID, the Little Bee-eater. Nice sharpness, colours and POV. Excellent composition.
Regards,
Peter

This is one of the most beautiful photos I have seen on TN for quite some time. Perfect timing and great POV.
