[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this picture when me and my sister were trekking up the hill , where we found a small stream in Horanadu ( a pilgrimage center in Western Ghats of Karnataka). First I saw a green colored insect flying, i thought it might be a paris peacock and went near the water with a coolpix camera. Then I found it to be a beautiful damselfly which showed vibrant colors when exposed to sunlight. It was a good moment though :)

The stick in the BG was disturbing but could not help :)

Hi Arjun. I am not to sure of the ID of this green slim Damselfly. It looks as if it was about to take of. You have taken it with good detail and bright colours. well done TFs.

Is it not a Calopteryx sp?
Ask to Argus, maybe he knows ID!
