Great One-horned Rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis)
weighing from 2200 - 3000 kg (4,800 - 6,600 lb). The average height of the species is 1.70 m (5.7 feet) and the average length is 3.50 m (11.7 feet).
There are around 2500 rhinos in the world from a population of 100 some 100 years ago.
most of them in Royal Chitwan - nepal, Manas India, Kaziranga-India and Namery-India.

Superb photo Yuval. I just want to visit Kaziranga to see this nice animal. Haven't seen this fellow in the wild yet! Thanks for sharing this photo, you almost have planned my next camp!
