Hallo Lou,
Wat een vreemd schepsel. Nooit zoiets gezien. Maar wel een erg mooie foto van gemaakt vanuit een goed standpunt. Mooi zo tegen de gelige achtergrond. Uitstekende scherpte en diepte in natuurlijke kleuren.
Goed weekend,

Excellent details, did not know this type of insect. Here in Venezuela I have not seen. Very good color and brightness. Excellent blur in the background. Good job.

Hello Laurens,
oyu show the insect with high sharpness. This is particularly true for the wings and their venation.
The background is also well selected. I feel that the composition could be more attractive:
I would like more space in front of the insect. A slight clock-wise tilt would be also advantageous.
Best wishes, Peter

Hi Lou,

I have never seen a snakefly before but I can see how it got its name. It's amazing to see that head and body with wings and antennae. Excellent colors, details, lighting, background and composition.

good in all respects except for composition, which could have been better with some space at least in the front of the beautiful insect. tfs.

Hola Laurens,

un impresionante insecto que yo desconocía. Creo que el ángulo es demasiado ajustado y por ello la cabeza queda algo desenfocada; una lástima ya que el resto es fantástico.
Saludos: J. Ignasi.

Hello Lou,
Sorry to be so late. I'm very interested in this kind of insects, having one species around my chalet. And you did so well, with your shot. Great sharpness and wonderful colors. I have also shown a picture of this insect,
but it was no great shot. I put it on TN just as a document.
Thanks and have a nice Sunday
