Saturnia pyri, the Giant Peacock Moth, is a Saturniid moth which is native to Europe. It is the largest European Moth and is also called as the Great Peacock Moth, Giant Emperor Moth or Viennese Emperor.

In French it is called Grand paon de nuit.

About 11cm (4,5 inch)long

Piękne kolory i ciekawa kompozycja, a także super model...Doskonała ostrość pierwszego planu, szczególnie włoski. Strasznie długa jest ta gąsienica, pewnie to jakiś motyl nocny, niestety nie wiem jaki.
Zdjęcie bardzo mi się podoba. Dziękuję i pozdrawiam.
