[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This strange and rare cactus, Mammillaria luethyi, was first discovered in 1996 in the mexican state of Coahuila. This was the first flower I saw on my specimen, and a really thrilling occurence. Since then, it has faithfully given dozens of flowers each year - and grown in proportion.

Hello Philippe

A very lovely shot. The shape of the flower is superb. You have captured this perfectly giving good details. The 'glow' emitting from the center of the flower is fantastic. Very good light and POV. Nice work. Thanks.

Hi Philippe,

A beautiful and charming shot. Wonderful colours and POV. Your composition here is quite strange and interesting.
TFS.

Bonjour Philippe,
Oui, c'est bizarre, mais c'est beau. C'est étonnant, la variété de formes et de couleurs qui existent dans la Nature. Cela dépasse notre imagination, rend la fiction scientifique banale.
Belle présentation, bravo!
