[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

I respect so many of You, photographer mates here on TN, I learned a lot from You all. One of my special favorites is Felipe (extramundi), whose fantastic fungi photos were the first I saw here (even in 2006). Beside this he's a very helpful guy and an excellent photographer, who I also learned so much from, and whose style of photographing always inspired me. He has many, so many stunners here on TN, but especially his Translucent Textures photo gave me so many inspirations, ideas, and opened new levels for me in fungi photography, that I always wanted to shoot something similar. So, thanx Felipe for everything, I hope You'll also like this dedication - this is the least I can do for the ideas and tips You shared with me. We know Your presence is irregular now, but we hope You fully come back soon.

The specie on the pic is Polyporus tuberaster, which was also photographed and shared by Felipe, see his Here Comes The Sun photo.

Protected by the Hungarian laws, although it isn't so very rare specie locally. This was the 3rd time I found it. I upload an upper view as workshop, because each of the P. tuberaster photos linked above + my image also, show pores only, not the cap texture.

Thanx for looking and reading, I hope You like the pic (about author's rights: I asked Felipe via e-mail if I can use the title he gave and he allowed).

Original sin duda Laszlo. Buen trabajo con la luz y buen encuadre, que hace que la toma este perfectamente equilibrada.

Siemanko Wladyslaw!
Very interesting photo, I think that you must much bend over backwards doing photographs for mushrooms:-), but it is paying are excellent.
I am greeting Slawek

Hi Laszlo,

An nice dedication fom you.

This one I never been seen in the Netherlands.
We have some few species Polyporus here.
Yes there an few good fungi photographers here.

Ciao Laszlo,
splendid dedication to our friend Felipe, very good sharpness, outstanding use of the light, excellent POV and composition.ů
Best regards

Hello László,

I notice the interesting effect from the backlight, as the mushroom is partly shine-through!
Well framed and the subject has fine details, presented in a classical composition...
Seems like the light is falling on the mushroom and nothing else, a stunning effect!

HI Laszlo, the low point of view and the backlight are greats choices! The best and artistic way to show this nice and rare fungi, thanks for the note too about Felipe. My best compliments, have a nice day,LUCIANO.

Thanks so much for your dedication!
I am glad that you say my photos can inspirate anyone, and specillay you. You have already shown your skills here, posting beutiful mycological captures, showing great enviroments, so don't be so modest or you will ashame me ;)
You chose very nice one for the dedication, with a misterious atmosphere. The sun really highlights the fungus perfectly showing the pores and contour well. Beautiiful BG and perfect framing too. Thanks again.

This is a very common fungus here, and grows all the year if it rains. I remember I posted one a long, long time ago...let me see...here it is :)
Best regards, it is a pleasure to discover that someone still remembers me here in TN :)
Your friend, Felipe

Szia Laci!

Gyönyörűen használtad a fényt, a felülnézetivel összehasonlítva látszik igazán, hogy a milyen sokat hoztál ki ebből a gombából! Tényleg nagyon tetszik, pedig én nem vagyok nagy gombaszakértő ;)

Hi and Good Morning Baratom Laszlo,

Hi Laszlo,
such a beautiful shot in excellent presentation. i really like the glow. the abilty to exert the power in waiting for the right moment is your wonderful strength here. the patience you have is the drive that is very examplary.
The fungi is not that easy to shot for a superbs effect.
you did it very well.
wonderful composition.

Hi Laszlo

Thankx for another great translucent fungi. Nicely illuminated from the side and a hint of forest in the background. Well composed and good presentation with good sharpness and details.
