It is not the perfect close-up and the frog takes not too big part of the photo but in my opinion it is very good documentary picture. I believe that this species is presented here 1st time in TN gallery! My best congratulations and also best greetings from Poland! :>

Hi Tibor,
excellent, this composition with the rare frog, Pelophylax kurtmuelleri. The light is just on the frog, like on a stage!

I found out that the systematics of Greek frogs is still under revision, Pelophylax kurtmuelleri has also been called (wrongly) Rana balcanica or Rana ridibunda in the past. The problem are the hybrids. Thanks for keeping us informed!
