Hi Valerie . Good to see you agan i glad you have sorted out your computer. This is a very impresive picture of Mont Blanc, taken from a good POV looking straight up at the mountain. I like the way you have included the bushes in the forground. Bright colours and good use of the light. WEll taken TFS.

Dear Valerie,
Nice to see you back - save and sound - and your computer back in working order!
You beautifully counterbalanced the imposing mountain and blue sky with the tree in the left bottom corner and some more to the right! It highlights to the viewer the incredible variety of blues in the sky!
Actually, clouds enhance the mountains - particularly - when they start falling over the top, as you captured so skillfully in detail.
I also like the different shades of green forest - sloping from 9 o'clock in the photo down to 4 o'clock - giving the image a restful atmosphere.

A beautiful picture of beautiful scenery in the French Alps.

Thanks for so nice presentation of the famous peak. I have never see it and will never visit it in the future. That is why I watch your picture with great interesting and pleasure. It took me a while to find you on TN :-)

I knew I would find in your portfolio photos of the Alps...

I start with this one for my theme "High Altitude"

This is a different view from the onesI am used to, the Swiss and the Italian side.
It is a beautiful day - you were lucky - and the few clouds add interest.

As previously you still have a gentle hand when you are editing:-)
I love the natural colours.
