This picture reminds me of the song by Jacques Brel, Le plat pays, talking about Belgium, but his lyrics about the sky so grey and so low that ducks were getting lost are evoqued in this picture. Lovely picture, the light in the clouds and the colours are beautiful, the ice reflecting it a plus. The lone tree and the brownish fields of fall are wonderful and romantic. Thank you Ikhsan.

Welcome tor TrekNature. I hope you will enjoy your membership as much as I do since I joined on 10 September.
Your first contribution, this landscape is a very interesting study of nature in general, and in particular of life in Holland.
You alternate very artistically the sky and the dark ground and the grey foreground.
The tree in the upper left if a good focus point, giving the image balance.
You could improve the image, if you altered slightly the exposure and added a bit contrast.
I upload to your workshop a proposal to demonstrate, what I mean.
