Aaah...il faut attendre beaucoup toutes les fois,mais quand elle arrive la surprise est toujours grandieuse! Mais quelle belle femme de Calopteryx cette fois! Je suis enthusiaste pas la parfaite capture du vert metallique de cette amie de nos etees,excellente nettete' et magnifique contraste avec le noir derrier! mom recovers soon. I love this metallic damselfly. It gave you a lovely pose sitting in
its characteristic resting posture Your image show nice and sharp detail and the lovely
colours are pleasing on the eyes. The DOF worked well to isolate the insect and the
leaf it is sitting on.

Bonjour Jacqueline,
Une libellule de grande beauté et une image très plaisante et bien présentée. J'apprécie surtout le "ton sur ton" de cette image. Belle pose aussi du Calopteryx sur la feuille qui par sa largeur confère à l'ensemble une bonne profondeur de champ.

Thanks for your frequent visits to my gallery, it is much appreciated.
I wish we had some of these beauties here, but I have only seen dragonflies. The details captured here is great, especially where the wings joins the thorax, the big black eye and the fine spikes on the paws. The typical pose you have captured it in, is like always eye-catching and beautiful to look at. The emerald colour of the body, turning to gold at the rear end is portrayed so beautifully and the texture and colour of the leave it is resting on ads to the beauty of the just mentioned colours. It was indeed a pleasure stopping by this lovely image. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Excellente macro photographie de cette belle Demoiselle. Belles couleurs, belle mise en page, bonne netteté et contrastes. Juste un peu dommage que le fond très sombre ait un peu "mangé" les détails des antennes de cette Demoiselle. Mais, c'est le genre d'insecte qu'il faut arriver à capturer en pleine activité, et vous y êtes parfaitement parvenue.

Bonjour Jacqueline,

I just critiqued dragonfly shots from Maurizio (maurydv) and Jesús (jlinaresp), so I'm on the line now... :) This pic is very nice also, like the images of the above mentioned gentlemen. Great composition with nice diagonal line, wonderful lights, excellent sharpness on the wings. Maybe the head became a little out of focus, but everything else is superb. Above all, a beautiful dedication top our Friend Sergio.
