Grazie e complimenti

A fine portrait of this species of Boletus. Nice low POV shows its features with fine sharpness and colours.
The lighting is perfect and the trunk of the old tree provides a perfect BG.
A nice tribute to our friend Anna, a valuable contributor to TN.
Thanks and have a good Sunday,

Another beautiful mushrooms! very interesting and brilliantly photographed, I like the handling of light and the central placement of the fungus.
You are one of the few members in TN, who are lucky enough to eat things that photograph!! I can never eat a dragonfly uncooked or cooked!
Thanks for your critique of my latest photos (and in previous, of course). It's good to share with people like you. I admire the fact that photographs and at the same time know very well what you photographs.
Greetings, hugs and happy Sunday to you and your family!

Although I am about last in the queue to critique this very special image that is dedicated to me, it does not mean my gratitude for this great dedication and kind gesture is last in the queue as well. I appreciate all the kind things you said about me, and feel humbled at the same time, and my I add I have a jump in my step after this dedication. I love to appreciate other people's photography and to leave my bit of thought about the image in my own way. I say it as I see it, and appreciate the beautiful nature that surrounds us, and because I do not know much about fungi, it fascinates me even more. I always thought a mushroom is a mushroom and that is all to it, until I joined Trek Nature and I learned there is much more to a mushroom or fungi than what I thought. It is people like you who are expertise in their own fields that make the site a learning experience worthwhile because I do not only read the notes that accompany a certain posting, but I also read (whenever I have time) what others share, as it is all a very educational journey. If it is a subject that are not featured as many times as others that is much more reason to look and read and appreciate the subject for its beauty.
The environment is well seen in this lovely image, and the orange coloured fungi displays beautifully against the tree trunk. In the overall image the colours, tones and textures compliment each other wonderfully. These rather large fungi always makes me think about fairy tales and that the fairies and elves are hiding somewhere inside of the picture looking back at me, just in the case of this Boletus erythropus. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet scene. Very attractive specimen of the mushroom. I also like dry grass and leaves as a carpet and tree trunk as a BG. Lights and colours are very delicate and pleasant. POV is simply great. My kind wishes and best regards.

Very royal fungus today. I like mood of this scene - very hot and summer. Brown colours of dry needles and pieces of bark are perfect with composition of green algae on BG and of course main subject. I like deep orange colours of bolete and its shape well known for every mushroom enthusiast. It looks very tasty. I'm hungry now and I'd like to eat scrambled eggs with mushrooms, now :-) Great picture my friend!

Hello My Friend Laszlo,
wow...this is an exciting shot of the sturdy and stubby fungus. i like it so orangy colours and the shine it gives. The excitement is seeing your composition in very low view to enhance the details and features. Very well composed in so natural light and surroundings.
Well presented in sharpness and the texture of the tree bark give a wonderful bsackground.

I'm not sure if this one is growing on the tree or just near the tree - most likely the latter!
Good details in the fungus and the colours are cleverly reproduced...
A balanced composition of educational quality!

I am interested in fungi species and take their photographes sometimes. But I dont know their species except several ones, since I am a zoologist. I learn some others from your posts and good informative notes. I think I know this species. its appearance is familiar for me. you nicely presented it with nice frame and composition. focus, POV and colors also very nice. It is also good dedication to our friend Anna.
Thanks for sharing, best wishes

Elég régóta nem hallottam felőled, biztos azért, mert már régen jártam errefelé. Látom, lankadatlan lelkesedéssel kutatod és fotózod a gombákat. (:
Remek fények láthatóak a képen, tetszik az átmenet a háttéren. A középre helyezett gomba a ferde tönkkel is kiválóan mutat.
Minden jót kívánok!! Üdv,
