I agree, Anne. Every season has its own peculiar charm.
This is a lovely composition of the snow thawing on a dried up composite seed. One has to stop, watch and then see the beauty of such simple phenomenon.

This is typical of a winters picture showing nature at its best. I like the way you have captured this with the snow just staring to melt and once again showing the seedhead of the flower. Very good detail and natural colours. wellsee and taken TFS.
