A trumpeter swan stretching his wings on the Madison River just inside the West Entrance. We were stopped here for about 15 minutes, but this was the only time it flapped its wings.

Hello Clay, welcome to TN.
You post a fine shot of these Trumpeter Swans who seem to be enjoying themselves at the moment. Looks like a blistering cold day to be going for a swim, but I'm sure these guys didn't mind a bit with all their natural insulation.
Nicely composed image showing good detail and natural colors. It's always hard getting the exposure right when dealing with a white subject, not to mention all the snow too, but you seemed to manage very well with this fine photo.
