[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Time and weather have not permitted me to make new photos or to visit TN. For the former I have to dig into my archive and find photos that still have something worthy of becoming a memory on the Internet.

This photo was taken back in 2008 when I spend my summer vacation in Norway. This photo was actually taken on one of the last days when we stayed at a very small campsite at the shores of Hardangerfjord. The light that evening had a wonderful soft feel to it. The mountains in the distance received this wonderful yellow glow and I knew I had to do something with it for a lasting memory.

Hallo Niek
My time on Trek Nature is very limited now a day and I missed out on some great images, but I am glad to see just as you posted a wonderful seascape from your archives. I like the variation in this scenery, light colours vs dark colours. The soft sky being the light and the water in the foreground being the dark. A soft on the eye image that is really beautiful to look at. Thanks for sharing and best regards.

Hi Niek

A very nice reminder from your trip to Norway. You are right, the light this evening was special it definitely enhances the perspective and depth of this scene.
I also like the way you've composed the scene here - with the two slopes crossing almost at 1/3 of the frame and creating a lovely focal point.
The sea looks great too and the person's silhouette offers a good scale for the place.

PS: It turns out sine i'm no longer going to Scotland this spring, i might actually go to Norway. If it's a sure thing, i might ask you for some tips (although my travel chances there might be a little limited).

very lovely view of the fjord.
Ther hues and the tones are really stunning and you have captured it very well.
Your presentation with the low light makes the mood so well felt in such a distance land that I never see.

Hi Niek!

I remember your trip to Norway and the pictures you presented very well. I'm glad to discover this one, too. It's, from my point of view, one of the best of the series. I like the gradation of the light, the simple lines and shapes and the palin subject. All this creates a nice and somehow melancholic atmosphere with a good portion of serenity.
