Hope you'll be doing fine dear lady. This is a really very wonderful shot. The sunlight is so perfect that the flowers and the green stalks and leaves appear so natural that one feels if one likes one can pick them........but wild flowers are wild and look beautiful that way.The focus is superb, the colour details are exquisite and the angle is good. Thanks a lot for sharing.....take care...warmest regards.Abid

It is very interesting to read your notes and to follow the links concerning this beautiful plant. I like this flower a lot, especially for its plain beauty and the delicate shapes. Your picture with the simple and effective composition, the lightplay and the fine colours highlight the flower's characteristics at best.

Hi Catherine. This is a fine picture of the Gagea peduncularis taken last spring giving us some thing to look forward to.
You have used the sun light so well to give bright colours. Taken with good detail .TFS.

Günaydın sevgili arkadaşım Catherine,
An incredible and fantastic macro capture of a delicate -eduncled-gagea with nice lighting effect! They seems really great!
TFS and have a nice Sunday!
Beautiful photo, fantastic colors and lights. Excellent exposure, background, light management etc. - I bookmark the image as one of my favorites. Tfs.
Also a very good idea to establish a "Gagea Fan Club" on TN - we all love this small lilium, because it's one of the earliest bloomers in spring, and quite common (at least G. lutea in Hungary). Congrats for the idea / note, too.
Best regards, have a nice Sunday, László
