[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks , yesterday we had some wonderful weather here in High River Alberta so I took the opportunity to go and try for some bird photos.

with the help of somewhat camouflaged cloths and a rather large log jam along the river , I had a rather lucky day with the waxwings. a very large flock was feeding along the rivers edge.

I was rather surprised to discover the source of food these birds had taken an interest in , the river is flowing but also still quite frozen so it came as a surprise to see these bird had found some flies to catch. tiny little flies buzzing around between the river and its frozen edge , I think they may be called snow flea's. it seemed to me that these birds would have a busy day trying to get their fill from these tiny insects...

I am impressed with superb quality picture of an elegant bird and very impressive surroundings. Fantastic combination of perfect details of the bird and lovely smoothness of the BG. Pose of the bird, turning of its head are fine as well as the shot at whole. Bravo. Once more refined art shot from you. TFS and best wishes.
