[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An adult Green Heron (Butorides virescens virescens). Taken just east of Bradenton, FL. Reaches about 17 inches in length as an adult. Often sitting down near the water's edge,as in this picture, this bird usually sees me and flies before I spot him. I was lucky this particular day; was able to get to within perhaps 15 yards of him for this picture.

Hello David,
A super shot of this particular bird. The composition is wonderful showing the bird in a great pose and in it's natural habitat. Super detail and just the right amount of exposure. Such a beautiful bird and presented in this top quality photo. Well done!!!

Hello David,
After the Goliath Heron of Eyal, now the Green Heron. Great photo in excellent sharpness, details and clear colours. Very good POV with eye-contact and composition. Superb DOF.
